Made by Albert Mark Burdge. Version 0.3.2 Beta for Windows x64.
Play Motion Pixels MovieCD discs on Windows
MovieSeeD is a MovieCD player and converter for Windows 10/11 x64. It opens supported Motion Pixels MovieCD AVI files from your disc or copied files, and can export H.264 or H.265 MP4, or MJPEG AVI. You must supply your own supported Sirius NT 5.02 codec; no proprietary codec or movies are bundled. Follow the MovieCD playback quick start and Sirius codec requirements.
MovieCD, VCD and SVCD are different formats
MovieCD uses Motion Pixels video in AVI files; standard VCD uses MPEG-1 and SVCD uses MPEG-2. MovieSeeD handles supported MovieCD playback and conversion. To make a VCD or SVCD from a readable video file, use Disc Workshop. Neither program guarantees compatibility with every disc, codec or player.
Before you download
You need your own supported Sirius NT 5.02 codec. It is not included. The Windows 95 codec found on many MovieCD discs will not work. MovieSeeD plays supported Motion Pixels MovieCD AVI files.
Read the requirements and codec instructions.
Windows 10/11 x64 target. Unsigned beta. The installer includes a Start menu shortcut and an optional desktop shortcut. To keep MovieSeeD on the taskbar, open it, right-click its taskbar icon and choose Pin to taskbar.

Watch your collection
Play directly from your MovieCD or a copied AVI. Fullscreen controls stay hidden until you move the mouse to the bottom. Up and Down change volume; Left and Right jump one minute. A brief overlay shows each adjustment.
Save an MP4 or AVI
Choose H.264 MP4 for broad compatibility, H.265 MP4 for smaller files, or MJPEG AVI. The MP4 encoder is included. Convert matching videos from one disc into one file, with progress and estimated time remaining. The 3.75 GiB limit applies to AVI only.
Make viewing comfortable
Choose an aspect ratio, save snapshots, load SRT or WebVTT subtitles, or switch to larger high-contrast controls. Optional automatic captions need a separately supplied whisper.cpp engine and model.
Get started
Install MovieSeeD, import your supported original codec from the File menu, then insert a MovieCD and choose Open MovieCD.

About this beta
Playback and seeking have been tested on a local disc, and short H.264 and H.265 exports passed. Compatibility with every disc and computer is not established. Clean Windows installation testing remains outstanding. Read the testing page for details.
