FANDOM ENTANGLEMENT Presents:
THE 12 SLIDES OF CHRISTMAS!
10th Slide: “A Treksploration of Christmas”
It’s the holiday season, and as a gift to SLIDERS fans, Fandom Entanglement is celebrating by releasing twelve separate episodes each day leading up to Christmas! We’ve rallied multiple guests, fellow podcasters, friends, and family to discuss Season 3, Episode 12, “Season’s Greedings” (original airdate: December 20, 1996 on Fox).
On a world where people are enticed by consumerism and giant malls in the sky, the Sliders get jobs as mall employees in order to find the mother of an abandoned child. Arturo is a reluctant Santa, Rembrandt and Wade are his elves, while Quinn gets an administrative job. Meanwhile, Wade faces some strong emotions when she meets her sister and father.
This episode was written by Eleah Horwitz, was directed by Richard Compton, and guest-starred Chase Masterson as Wade’s sister, Kelly!
In this episode, the co-hosts of TREKSPLORATION, Albie Burdge & Christopher DeFilippis are joined by the “Beautiful” John Irons, the host of CAPTAIN GAMESHOW! But in an alternate reality somewhere within the multiverse, they are the co-hosts of Fandom Entanglement…and Damon and Mike are just a couple of dudes talking about Star Trek — what a novel concept! After the cold open, join Chris for his signature episode recap as only he could tell it, then join the trio as they discuss cocaine, hookers and evil clergy, all in the name of holiday fun and merriment. Hijinks and mayhem ensue! Hope you enjoy their analysis and review!
Check back in tomorrow for the Eleventh Slide of Christmas and a holiday party with several friends both old and new!
