MovieSeeD. A new home for your MovieCD collection

Made by Albert Mark Burdge.

Play your MovieCD collection on Windows with continuous playback, fullscreen controls, one-minute seeking, snapshots, subtitles, and optional large high-contrast controls. Convert an entire disc into one MP4 or AVI for VLC and other compatible players, with progress and estimated time remaining.

Version 0.3.2 Beta • Windows x64 • Your supported original Sirius NT 5.02 codec is required and is not included. The Windows 95 codec on many discs is not supported. This player handles Motion Pixels MovieCD AVI, not DVD-Video or Blu-ray.

Downloads

• Download Windows installer
• Download portable ZIP
• Download checksums
• Installation, controls, subtitles, and troubleshooting
• Release notes

The installer adds a Start menu shortcut with the MovieSeeD icon. The portable edition needs no installation: extract the complete ZIP and run MovieSeeD.exe.

Watch, convert, and customize

Fullscreen controls disappear until needed. Use the arrow keys to change volume or jump one minute. Choose an aspect ratio, capture a PNG frame, adjust playback speed, repeat a scene, or enable high-contrast accessibility controls.

Conversion reads all matching-format AVI videos on the inserted disc and saves one H.264 MP4, H.265 MP4 or MJPEG/PCM AVI. AVI export is limited to 3.75 GiB; MP4 is not subject to that limit. External SRT and WebVTT captions are supported; optional automatic captions need a separate local whisper.cpp engine and model.

The Mask is publisher-reported working; The Toxic Avenger has been used in development tests. Compatibility across all titles and computers has not been established. The unsigned download is labeled beta and includes the source, documentation, and license materials.
